Knott's Berry Farm Fun.

Here is our wonderful bus that gets our big family around. No, it's not the same one as John and Kate plus 8.


Sully loves and protects his sweet Mattie. He says she is the most beautiful princess on Earth.

Stopping at the park is a fun part of our trips. Sammy really liked our swing ride.

Sammy's other favorite ride is on Michael's shoulders. This was walking on Harbor Boulevard to eat spaghetti. It was yummy.

Mattie and Mommy on another ride. She got her first pair of sunglasses, wore them all day, then wanted to sleep with them. I could just smooch her all day, she is so sweet.

Sammy smiled a lot on our trip. YAY!

Daddy even had fun on the swings. Love that man.. We kissed on the slide too, but you don't get to see that . HA!

We are so proud of Kasey, he conquered his fear of the Ferris wheel.

The little kids loved the rides in Camp Snoopy.

Sully was big enough for this one too. He worked hard to get his cart around the track. I think the little girl in front of him gave him motivation. =)

All in all, we wished we had more than 3 days to be there, but are so grateful for a relaxing, fun time together as our family. Thank you daddy for our really great trip. xoxo

Birthparent Interview

Thank you for praying for the birth mother and the interview she had to endure. It took place yesterday at the US Embassy and went very well. She had to fly to get there and take a day off from work as she is a school teacher. I marvel at her courage to do what's best for her son. Now we wait to exit MOI (Minister of Interior) to then have the final VISA and medical appointment. I am getting so excited as we get closer to our family being together after such a long wait. He is worth every bit of this journey.

Last week at the orphanage.

A group of parents went to sign papers for their adoptions and one family took several pictures of baby J. I will never underestimate the joy a photo can bring. He is getting quite mobile and wanting to be with the big kids (above)

K raises chickens...

My little farmer. Farmer K received 24 baby chicks in the mail last week. He is such a proud father as he cleans, feeds, waters, etc.. the "babies". He and his big brother built this 4x4 ft. brooder with heat source and it works great. We haven't had any escapees. =) The chicken coop and run is the next project.....

Trip to Haiti

My brave husband went to Haiti to sign the I600A papers for our baby J. He said the best part of Haiti was this plane waiting to take him home to America. This trip was a necessary part of getting our baby home. Now, we wait for the birth parent interview that is scheduled for November 20th. After that is the medical assessment and issuance of his visa and passport. My hubs is my hero for laboring through this rough country to deliver our precious son. Thank you daddy..
