We had a 75 degree day so my 5 and I headed to the Railroad Trail at Lake Mead, NV. There were beautiful views.

There were amazing rocks and "treasures" to find on our way. Now that the railroad doesn't need this area, it is a great place to hike or mountain bike.

Amazing to see how they supported the openings of the tunnels.

They used to service the building of Hoover Dam. The tunnels they dug to reroute the Colorado River were even more amazing. I'll have to take the kids on that tour next.

They were troopers. We hiked about 6 miles total that day and had a picnic along the way. Mattie rode in the backpack about half the trip.

See you later..
