Photos of our baby are so exciting. He is doing very well and we can't wait to hold him. It looks like that could be a longer wait than we think..Today we sent our dossier to the Haitian Consulate to be certified. Then they send it to our agency. Finally, it goes to Haiti. Today, I spoke with our case manager and she told us that the Haitian government wants to stop allowing adoptions to parents with ANY biological children. For those that don't know our details we have two of those =).. She explained that it may not apply to "special needs" kids. This woman is amazing at her job and her passion. She was sitting there, talking to me with her face flush with high blood pressure and stress. All the while, bowing her head in prayer for my baby. I am so grateful for her prayers for us. She is so in touch and a such prayer warrior for these babies and our families that wait for them. Thank you Sara for being wonderful you.
Please pray for the Haitian government to not change the law to "NO bio kids" as that will not only affect us, but so very many children's opportunities to have loving homes. Thank you dear family and friends.
